Mrs. Srisha Nitin is the Director of Academics at SSVM Institutions, a group of five K-12 schools in the district of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. SSVM has excelled in the education space by providing world-class infrastructure and a sound pedagogy through the implementation of best practices. SSVM’s founders Dr. Manimekalai and Mr. Mohandoss built this organization with an unimaginable amount of determination and motivation to provide accessible quality education for every child in the vicinity of Mettupalayam and Coimbatore. Mrs. Srisha took on its reins with an even more everlasting and passionate mission.
As its leading Director, Mrs. Srisha has a vision to mould young minds with an entrepreneurial mindset and prepare them to excel for their future. Having been educated in University of British Columbia, Mrs. Srisha’s focus in SSVM has been to foster creativity and critical thinking as a part of the learning curve in every child. To inculcate such qualities in the children, her major efforts and projects are on creating an ideal learning environment with technology-enabled learning platforms. She has been featured in Digital Learning Magazine for showing how SSVM has been improving its learning outcomes in every child and develop teachers professionally. Under her leadership, SSVM has been building an environment which allows every child to be educated impartially with a thirst for learning, innovation and purpose.
Each aspect of her life is driven by her determination to create an impact and bring about a positive change. As a young achiever, Srisha has accomplished numerous feats in Singing and Shooting. Mrs. Srisha has released five music albums in Tamil and Sanskrit that bequeathed valuable messages such as empowering women, identifying self and devotional songs. She is a National Gold Medalist in 10m Air Rifle Shooting and has bagged various gold medals right from her first State level championship until National level meets where she has also broken the record with her scores in the period of 2012-2014. Ms. Srisha had recieved the Youth Leadership for Sports award in 2013.
