A merit holder in Zoology Masters as well as in B.Ed., and M.Ed., Mrs. Sanchita Verma has a rich experience of over 35 years in education.
She has held various positions as a college lecturer, head of the department, academic coordinator, and principal in prestigious schools in India and abroad.
As Principal Indian School Sohar, Oman since August 2012, she has proven herself as an asset to the Indian community in Sohar with her dynamic leadership, astute planning and academic cum administrative acumen with astounding inter-personal relationship.
She is the recipient of many prestigious awards which include Ambassador’s trophy for the most improved school in Oman, Honour for Academic Excellence thrice by the Gulf Sahodaya for CBSE affiliated schools in Gulf region,Environmental Champion, Green School Initiative award by the World education summit, Best zonal principal by SOF, Eco initiatives by the Ministry of environment Oman, Long service recognition award by the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman to name a few.
She successfully completed “Train the trainer” programme by International Leadership Management Institute, London. Her passion for education took her to Finland, UK, Canada, and USA for understanding international systems of education.
