Ranjini Krishnaswamy

Dr. Ranjini Krishnaswamy is the Director of Dosti Foundation School, Mumbai. She is a recipient of the National Award for Teachers/Principals from the Government of India and has won several other awards too. She has been in the academic arena for close to 4 decades, 25 years of which she has been a Principal. She has also been a Teacher trainer at the E.C.C.Ed and B.Ed levels. Her core competency is Curriculum Construction and Development, School Administration and the teaching of English Language. She is the Western Region Coordinator for PEAS (Program for Environmental Awareness in Schools) a National, non-government body for promoting Environmental Education among children; and has also written 2 practice books on Environmental Education. She has also been instrumental in creating a text cum workbook based on Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” which is an English text for the ICSE students. She is closely associated with Global Cities Inc. a project of the Bloomberg Philanthropies, New York and has participated in International Symposiums organized by them.
